American Leathers is based in the heart of the west. We call Cody Wyoming our home, where rugged and raw surroundings demand high energy. This way of life produces an ability to innovate and create products that perform.

I feel I am continuing a family tradition in that my father, John Schulz, was the past owner of the very reputable company, American Longbow. He followed in the footsteps of the most famous longbow archer of all time, Howard Hill. As an avid traditional bow hunter myself, I have been able to design and create products that meet the realistic needs of bow hunters and target shooters.

I am proud of the archery products that I have designed and constructed for an ever growing number of satisfied and discriminating customers. Our hunting gallery of pictures is a testament to how we live and the products we sell.
